About Amy Puschinsky
As a parent of two children in White Bear Lake Schools and a former PTA president, Amy is deeply invested in the future of our district. Her own experiences—including growing up with an undiagnosed learning disability and facing food insecurity—have shaped her belief that every student deserves to feel supported, valued, and like they belong. Through nonprofit leadership, board governance, and community advocacy, she's built a collaborative, thoughtful approach to solving problems and bringing people together. She is running for the White Bear Lake School Board to strengthen communication, support our educators, and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
Every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and like they belong in our schools.
Campaign Mission
Amy's mission is to advocate for every child’s right to a quality education and to create an inclusive environment where all families feel represented and valued. Amy will ensure every student feels seen, supported, and empowered to succeed by fostering strong schools built on collaboration, transparency, and a deep commitment to every child and every family.
Amy's Values & Vision
Every school board-related decision should begin with one question: "How does this support students?" Amy's vision is one where every child has the resources to reach their full potential.
To achieve this, Amy believes the best solutions come from listening, learning, and working together. She is an advocate for partnering with families, educators, students, and our community to make informed decisions. Amy is also committed to clear, consistent, and accessible communication so our community understands how and why decisions are made.
Leading with empathy means recognizing that every family's experience is different. Amy will approach every decision with kindness, respect, and a commitment to serving our entire community.
